Physician-owned / Chestnut Hill & the Wissahickon
Care worth a
doctor’s time.
A physician-owned men’s hormonal-health practice at the edge of the Wissahickon. A doctor who sees you himself, has the time, and treats where it’s right. Never a website that ships vials.
The difference / show, don’t tell
The same number, read two ways.
One of them is your health.
A testosterone result means nothing until a physician reads it in context: against your symptoms, your free and bioavailable levels, your age, where you’re heading. Most men get the first reading. Here is what the second one looks like.
“Normal. Nothing to discuss.”
It lands inside the lab’s reference range, so the conversation ends here. You leave with the same fatigue, the slow recovery, and the flat afternoons you walked in with.
Illustrative figures. Not medical advice or a promise of results; every plan is individual, physician-directed, and based on your own evaluation and labs.
The practice / why a physician
A physician owns it, and a physician runs it.
Most men’s health today is a funnel: an online form, an algorithm, a signature from a doctor you will never meet, a box of testosterone in the mail. It is efficient, and it is not care.
Wissahickon is the opposite, by design. The physician who owns this practice is the one who evaluates you, prescribes for you, and follows you over time. Membership buys his attention: unhurried visits, labs read in full, and a plan that changes as you do. That is what a doctor’s time is worth.
What we look after.
Physician-directed and evidence-based, and only what is right and lawful to deliver in Pennsylvania.
Testosterone & hormones
Evaluation, sensitive lab testing, and physician-directed testosterone therapy for men whose levels and symptoms warrant it. Treatment where it is appropriate, not by default.
Metabolic & longevity
Weight, energy, sleep, and the markers that move with them, managed as one picture over time rather than one visit at a time.
The relationship
A standing physician you can reach, who knows your history and your goals. Continuity is the treatment most men have never actually had.
Questions / before you ask for an invitation
What this is, and what it isn’t.
- What is men's hormonal health, and what does this practice look after?
- An evaluation-led look at the hormonal and metabolic changes men notice over time, including energy, sleep, recovery, drive, and body composition, and the lab markers behind them. Care centers on testosterone and related hormones, evaluated and, where clinically appropriate, treated under a physician's direction.
- How does an evaluation work?
- It begins with your history and the symptoms you're noticing, then sensitive laboratory testing read in full, including total and free testosterone, SHBG, and related markers, interpreted against your symptoms, age, and goals rather than a single reference range. A physician then discusses whether treatment is appropriate and what a plan would involve. Treatment, when warranted, is physician-directed and followed over time.
- Who is the practice for?
- Men who want a standing relationship with a physician who reads their labs in full and has time for the conversation, rather than an online form and a box in the mail.
- Is this testosterone-by-mail?
- No. It is a physician-owned membership practice, with no automatic prescription and no shipping funnel. Testosterone therapy is prescribed only where clinically appropriate, after evaluation and laboratory testing, and only as lawful to deliver in Pennsylvania.
- Where is it, and when does it open?
- Springfield Township, Montgomery County, at the edge of the Wissahickon, minutes from Chestnut Hill, Lafayette Hill, and Flourtown. Founding memberships open ahead of the first location, and the request form is how to be among the first contacted.
- How is my information handled?
- The request form collects only your name, email, and an optional note, used solely to contact you about founding membership. Please keep clinical details out, it isn't a medical channel. See the privacy page for more.
